Sleep On It

Sleep helps your body and brain develop and grow. Specifically your brain needs sleep so you can remember what you learn, focus, concentrate, solve problems and think of new ideas.

Your body needs sleep so your muscles, bones and skin can grow and repair injuries. Sleep also allows your body to remain healthy and fight sickness. A link has also been discovered between not getting enough sleep and being overweight.

How much sleep do you need?

7 - 12 10 - 11 hours per day
12 - 18 8 - 9 hours per day
